WATT EN SCHLICK FESTIVAL

WATT EN SCHLICK FEST is a festival held directly on the beach at the Wattenmeer World Heritage Site. With an urban mix of music, literature, film, and theatre showcased across four different stages, the festival promises to be a chill weekend event for the whole family.

An official partner of the festival, Lemonaid, has invited The Universal Sea to participate in WATT EN SCHLICK by hosting a co-creation workshop. Lemonaid is a fairtrade certified soft drink company (started in Hamburg), who support and contribute to worldwide social change. With funds from their sales, Lemonaid aims to help improve social, economic and ecological structures for farmers and communities in frequently disadvantaged parts of the world.

Their style of doing business is innovative and inspiring – a great example of what can happen when activism meets entrepreneurship. So, I can only assume we will be at the festival with bells on!
