NEW HOPE

Description:
NEW HOPE Our society has reached its edges. Politicians and their voters are no longer able to influence this. Artists, Philosophers and Scientists are needed now more than ever to show new ways, because governing the world out of fear or financial gain is not a durable vision. My mobile home is a means to manifest myself as an art nomad. I position myself in the middle of society but, on the other hand, would like to keep the possibility to “escape” it all, and experience nature freely. It’s not really a escape but a search: Always a flexible search for new values. I work with contemporary materials like household plastics, plastic waste, acryl and tape, to create paintings, collages, objects and installations. Theme’s like the current environmental problems due to our influence, the glorification of economical values, and the various Revolutions going on in the world today are the main ingredients in my art. I’m trying to find images that have to do with a new enlightenment of ourselves. With my work I like to expose our current culture and values as opposite to the power of nature; which will outlive us all: looking for new hope.
