Title:
Message in a bottle

Description:
Art should call your attention, send a message and make an statement because art is sort of activism, that's the reason I'm sharing with you the "Message in a bottle". In my artwork "Message in a Bottle"- a print that I created especially for "The Universal Sea"- I represent in subject and technique (Non Toxic Printmaking) the importance to take immediatly actions against the plastic epidemic who are stealing the beauty and life of our seas. For my Prints I reuse empty drinking cartons, they work as the Matrix where with a hard-pointed "needle" of sharp metal I start engraving. On the other hand this "Non Toxic Printmaking" also known as "Green Printmaking" is friendly with the environment and also friendly with the user, since is less toxic comparing to other printmaking techniques.Through this artistic activism I'm looking forward to inspire other artists to create eco-alternatives for art and of course through my Print "Message in a bottle" I want to reach people who share the message and pass it through. Art has been changing the world since decades, now is time for us to transform this several plastic pollution into powerful actions.
