Description:
WHITE ENOUGH Installation from sea garbage for the water / mixed media, 2012-2015 The main goal of the installation is to show the artist’s way of plastic sea garbage utilization. It is transformed from trash into objects/sculptures drifting in water as garbage used to. City throws its garbage into the sea. The sea returns it back. I painted trash which I found on the beach into sterile white color and created from it objects of my own city: a house, TV tower, monument, zoo, yacht. Then I returned them to the water to loop the circle of sea plastic life. Link to video documentation: https://vimeo.com/244209052 password: white “White Enough” is ongoing project, the first part of which was created in Ondarte Residency for Artists in Mexico. Then I made video works on the basis of White Enough installation shooting. More information about the project White Enough is available at the artist’s website http://marinafomenko.com/eng/white-enough.html
