SYMPOSIUM green design 7.0 – MATERIAL CYCLES

greenlab – Laboratory for Sustainable Design Strategies based at the weißensee academy of art berlin – will start this summer semester 2018 with a symposium on MATERIAL CYCLES.

The symposium addresses materials, systems and the circular economy with a focus on ecological green design and bio design. Talks from a wide range of international designers, technologists, researchers and practitioners will focus on innovative concepts, practical developments, and the social and economic potential of sustainable and ecologically sound production.

With the symposium, greenlab opens another semester of intensive research and work on the topic of sustainability. As in previous years, interdisciplinary semester projects will be offered across the design departments of weißensee art academy berlin.

The language of the symposium is English. Participation is free of charge.
