The Universal Sea is happy to support Plan A for a common purpose: fighting Water Pollution.
We are proud that The Universal Sea was invited to open the Water Festival, which is running from 19 – 23 March 2018. On the agenda: the evening will start with two short presentations by Plan A, initiator of the festival, and by The Universal Sea.
Following, an artist discussion on the theme of water and upcycling art will give the opportunity to the 5 invited Berlin-based creatives to speak about their concepts. Each of them is working with different types of media and material, offering a dynamic programme. We are delighted that Daria Wartalska, Mona Lüders, and Corinna Rosteck will be part of our panel. Finally, the event will be closed by a live set performed by Stefan Roslmair.
A selection of artist’s submissions from The Universal Sea open call will be shown alongside the work of the Berlin artists, including a video by Timo Kahlen, a sound installation by Stefen Roslmair and drinking objects called Re-set and patchwork lamps by the product designer Daria Wartalska.
