Are you a busy bee? Thecamp’s HIVE residency might be for you!

How to describe our friends and partners Thecamp? They call themselves, “A base camp for exploring the future,” and maybe this is the most apt description. Based in the idyllic countryside of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region of Southern France, thecamp is host to a plethora of interdisciplinary and innovative projects and residencies that aim to rethink, redesign and recreate our future.

One of their projects – POP, might be of particular interest to those of you passionate about our mission, here at The Universal Sea, to halt the epidemic of plastic pollution in the world’s water sources.

Between January and July of next year, thecamp is holding their third HIVE residency. HIVE is a 6-month program hosting 20 young talents from all over the world. This team will be truly interdisciplinary as thecamp are looking for creative thinkers from diverse fields such as: art, design, science, research, business, and technology. The HIVE residents will embark upon a collaborative expedition to explore the future by developing concrete solutions for universal issues like energy consumption, ocean conservation, mobility, education, and quality of life… just to name a few.

Applications for HIVE #3 close September 30, 2018, at midnight (CET) and you can find additional information and apply HERE.

This could be the opportunity to influence the future you’ve been waiting for! So let your talents shine and become one of the busy bees in HIVE #3.
