Description:
Lake Urmia Lake Urmia, the largest inland lake in Iran, is the largest saltwater lake in the Middle East, and the sixth largest saline water in the world. The lake has dried up since the mid-first decade of 2000 and is now in danger of being completely dry. In 2009, I took pictures of Lake Urmia in analog form and now, after 9 years, a large part of Lake Urmia has alluvium I started manipulating my photo print for showing this happening. I poured my pictures in the water, and with the gradual drying of the water, the images of the photos were also destroyed and left only after the sedimentation. The remaining remains of the legacy and memorial of Lake Urmia will be for the next generation. The photographs are presented with concrete frames, which represent the dam around it and the bridge on it, which has caused it to dry.
