Title:
Take Care of Me

Author:
Riccardo Attanasio

Description:
"Take Care of Me" is a participatory installation which came from a 5 days symposium around a clay table called "Atelier n.4". This particular Piece would be a re-adaptation for "The Universal Sea". During the exhibition I will be creating a large clay table landscape and I will invite people to join me in conversation, we can me many working on the clay table at some point and we will be talking about taking care (shaping our landscape together) of our planet and which can be the solutions for it to be a better place. After a few days I will let the table and landscape alone, and people will still be able to interact with the work by keeping it moist. The conversations of the previous days will be recorded to that the public responsible to keep the work moist will be able to hear it whilst doing it. We will be all responsible to keep the clay landscape Moist, so here the importance of water in this work, if the installation will be left without discussions and water, it will dry out and the landscape will look dry and eventually collapse. It will only be through cooperation with others, dialogues that the installation will keep looking gorgeous. This installation will be a platform for people and me to have open discussions about water, the seas, the landscape and our future. Participants will be instructed to take care of the table and have conversations surrounding those particular issues. The conversations will be recorded in order to give continuity to the project and hold on to eventually solutions given by the public.
