The Universal Sea at EU@SXSW

We are very proud to follow an invitation by the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.

We’ll showcase our EU co-funded project The Universal Sea that we started in 2017 at the world-renowned festival SXSW in Austin, Texas. Totally in our mindset, this year’s festival brings together artists, innovators, and thought-leaders from around the world. The Universal Sea will be presented by EU@SXSW organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.

Our project leads will attend the program and highlight the art and innovation approach of the project to find solutions for the plastic epidemic and to foster a sustainable future. The program will showcase videos and artistic positions from Europe and abroad. A special highlight will be the wearable art dresses by Antoaneta Tica. Furthermore, innovative solutions of businesses and start-ups as well as scientific facts will also be presented.
Come and meet us from 12 – 14 March there and have a look into our The Universal Sea guidebook presenting more than 600 artists and 500 innovators.
